Pierced by a Ray of Sunlight

Light is magic. It creates. It shapes. It changes. It shows us the truth, the colour of our passions, and the road ahead. But more than that – it carries within itself its own duality – for with Light, inevitably, comes Shadow…

    1. Dear Amanda, that is so true! 🙂 And it was the reason why this photo fascinated me so much – Anton Germano is both talented and interesting in his photography and comments. 🙂
Being up here in the Nordics, Light takes on an almost mystical aspect at times … though that is even more pronounced further North 😉 🙂 Still, as a general phenomenon (only slightly exaggerated) Danes tend to get outside in the sun whenever possible 😉
Have a great weekend, dear Amanda! 🙂 🙂

      1. I can understand why Danes like the sun as it hides itself under low grey cloud much of the time. That is also why those long sunny evenings of summer in Scandinavia, are extra special. These balmy evenings are invigorating and energizing. No wonder you described it as mystical. It is some compensation for the amount of overcast days, perhaps?

          1. Yes taken for granted here. If they are not complaining about the heat and the glare, and we have more than 2 days of showers, people are complaining about needing webbed feet!! No one here owns a decent raincoat, you can’t buy anything except a thin plastic thing, in the stores and most stay indoors if it there is a sprinkle of rain!! That’s Aussies for you.
