It has been a long, dark winter, windy and wet without end. And when I almost couldn’t stand it any longer, suddenly Spring arrived! Without hesitation I hurried to pack my back, grabbed my camera, and went on a slow, enjoyable walk in the forest.

As soon as I stepped inside, sweet white flowers surrounded my like small faeries. Gentle leaves shone bright, like fireworks of life, touched by the warm rays of the Sun. And the birds sang like crazy everywhere.

I took a deep breath of relief as the heavy cloak of winter fell from my shoulders. “Now I am ready!” I thought to myself. And I followed the path, surrendering myself to the beauty of Spring, the meaning of Life, the hope of a new Beginning, with each and every step. Only when the sun went down did I stop, next to a small, quiet lake, on my way home. And I smiled as I wove my dreams in the blue and pink colours of evening.

I invite you to visit this beautiful forest here in the northern part of Zealand, Denmark, by the small town of Ganløse. Three times I went there, and each time I returned with a sense of magic and wonder. So, come with me now, on a calming and meditative walk through the enchantment of Spring, and let it fill you with peace and happiness.
